The cornerstone of what we do is caring for people and bettering their lives through design. Sheena McGee, started The Gould Syndrome Foundation in 2018 in response her daughter being diagnosed along with 200 others in the world with this extremely rare genetic condition. The Gould Syndrome Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 100% volunteer based, providing patient advocacy and funding for medical research.
MAHO is Northeast Ohio's premier 501(c)(3) for accessible housing and home to the Anderson Center for Accessible Housing Advocacy and Resources. Sheena McGee has served on the board since 2017, and was appointed Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, and Committee Chair for the Anderson Center in 2018-2020. She is also serving as Chair for the Strategic Planning Committee.
